LearnAU Senior Instructional Designer Chuck Piscitello is excited to invite you to participate in the Quality Matters (QM) Improving Your Online Course (IYOC) workshop—a hands-on, facilitated experience designed to strengthen the quality and alignment of your online or hybrid course. 📅 Workshop Details Course: Independent Improving Your Online Course (IYOC) Format: Virtual (2 Half-Day Sessions) Facilitator: Dr. Charles Piscitello, Ashland University Session Dates & Times: April 10, 2026 | 1:00–4:00 PM April 24, 2026 | 1:00–4:00 PM Course Dates: April 17–24, 2026 Location: Microsoft Teams (details to follow) 🎯 What You’ll Gain The Quality Matters IYOC workshop provides a structured framework for improving course design using the QM Rubric. Participants will: Apply QM standards directly to their own course Evaluate alignment between objectives, materials, and assessments Identify and prioritize meaningful course improvements Develop a practical course improvement plan This workshop is application-driven—you will actively work within your own course throughout the experience. 🧠Who Should Attend Faculty teaching online or hybrid courses Instructional designers and course developers Anyone looking to improve course quality and alignment 📌 Important Notes You must have an existing course to work on during the workshop Participants will be added to Teams for both session dates Active participation is expected across both sessions 🚀 Why This Matters If your course isn’t aligned, it’s not effective—period.
